Here is your opportunity to master the techniques needed to transform your pictures into creative photographic expression. Chip Forelli will supply you with the tools necessary to create compelling photography – no magic here, but the results are magical. Chip will share his secrets, help you determine what’s missing in your photographs, and teach you the necessary camera and shooting techniques along with his simple, straightforward and effective approach to digital editing that will make your images gallery worthy. The sessions will be divided between shooting the local landscape and then bringing those images into Photoshop for hands on, guided digital enhancement. At every step of this process, we will consistently focus on what urged you to trip the camera shutter and ensure that that emotion is clearly expressed and emphasized in your photograph. Class time will be filled with informative, lively, and supportive discussions, lessons and critiques of instructor and student work including a presentation of Chip’s straight (unPhotoshopped) and final, enhanced images. Students will go home with several archival prints of their images from the workshop as well as a comprehensive Photoshop tutorial handout.
